Featured Features – Week 5

This week marks the conclusion of our Featured Features series. I hope that you have enjoyed it or at the very least, learned something new. I’ve saved my favorite features for last. These four features (plus a bonus feature!) give you the ability to stay connected to your customers no matter where you are. Gotta love that!

Call Forwarding – Need to run out of the office for a last minute errand? Not a problem. With call forwarding you will never miss an important call. Choose from multiple options, like forwarding calls to your cell phone or to a co-worker’s extension, by simply logging in to the online customer portal (which I will go over later) and customizing it to fit your specific needs.

TIPS: Telonium has recently added a Business Continuity feature for the rare event of phone system failures. The new feature automatically forwards all calls to an alternate phone number, such as your cell phone, and returns back to your regular business number once the system is restored.

Follow Me/Find Me – If you are constantly running around (hello entrepreneurs of the world!), our follow me/find me feature is for you. It will try several phones sequentially to reach you no matter where you are. For example, calls will first go to your office phone, then after a certain amount of rings it will try your cell phone and so on.

Voicemail to Email – A favorite among many of our customers, voicemail to email is an incredibly useful feature to have. Just like it sounds, you are able to receive your voicemails as an email immediately after a message is left on your phone. Which means you can listen to your voicemail straight from your smartphone. Pretty nifty right? This feature can be great for those that are often traveling for business and don’t want to miss any important voicemails.

Online Customer Portal – You can access your phone system activity and settings from anywhere and at any time using our secure online customer portal. Within the customer portal you are able to make changes to everything from voicemail settings to call routing options. We want to give you as much access and control over your phone system as we can, and the customer portal is our way of doing that.

TIPS: Our developers are constantly striving to make the customer portal even better and more useful so if you have ideas for helpful additions, just let us know!
