This Privacy Statement is to inform you of Telonium’s privacy practices and provide information about the ways in which information collected by Telonium is used and disclosed.

OUR COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY
At Telonium, your privacy is important to us. We have provided this Statement in order to explain the way your personal information is collected, used and disclosed.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
This Privacy Statement applies to all information collected by or which you submit to Telonium, whether on our website or by fax, e-mail, phone or otherwise, including personal information. “Personal information” is information that reasonably can be used to identify an individual.

Telonium collects personal information when:

  • you make purchases;
  • you request support for Telonium services;
  • you request information or materials;
  • you participate in surveys and evaluations;
  • you participate in promotions, contests or giveaways;
  • you submit questions or comments to us.

The types of personal information collected may include (but are not limited to):

  • your first and last name;
  • your title and your company’s name;
  • your home, billing, or other physical address (including street name, name of a city or town, state/province);

  • any other identifier that permits Telonium to make physical or online contact with you;
  • any information that Telonium collects online from you and maintains in association with your account, such as: your Telonium username, your Telonium password, your credit card account information.

TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED AND DEVICE PERMISSIONS
Among the types of Personal Data that Telonium collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: Usage Data; Contacts permission; Camera permission; Precise location permission (non-continuous); Microphone permission; Phone permission; Storage permission; geographic position; Data communicated while using the service; app information; device logs; device information.

Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in the case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using Telonium app.

Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by app is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for Telonium to provide its services. Users who are uncertain about which Personal Data is mandatory are welcome to contact us at any time.

Depending on the User’s specific device, Telonium may request certain permissions that allow it to access the User’s device Data as described below.

Camera permission
Used for accessing the camera or capturing images and video from the device.

Contacts permission
Used for accessing contacts and profiles on the User’s device, including the changing of entries.

Microphone permission
Used for accessing and recording microphone audio from the User’s device.

Phone permission
Used for accessing a host of typical features associated with telephony. This enables, for instance, read-only access to the “phone state”, which means it enables access to the phone number of the device, current mobile network information, or the status of any ongoing calls.

Precise location permission (non-continuous)
Used for accessing the User’s precise device location to allow users to share their location with other users.
The geographic location of the User is determined in a manner that isn’t continuous. This means that it is impossible for Telonium to derive the exact position of the User on a continuous basis.

Storage permission
Used for accessing shared external storage, including the reading and adding of any items.

THE PURPOSE OF PROCESSING
The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Telonium to provide its Service, comply with its legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, protect its rights and interests (or those of its Users or third parties), detect any malicious or fraudulent activity, as well as the following: Device permissions for Personal Data access, Hosting and backend infrastructure, Infrastructure monitoring, Location-based interactions, Contacting the User, Registration and authentication and Managing contacts and sending messages.

SHARING AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES
Any personal information that we collect (as identified in the “Personal Data We Collect” section) may be shared with business partners, contractors, vendors, and authorized third-party agents either with Your consent or for business or legal purposes and in accordance with applicable law to:

  • Conduct analytics in order to improve the user experience of our Apps and Services;
  • Provide support and technical services;
  • Operate, deliver, improve and customize our Apps, and Services.

RETENTION TIME
We process Personal Data and store it for as long as required to fulfill for which the information was originally collected.

Therefore, Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Telonium and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.

We may retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.

Once the retention period expires, Personal Data will be deleted or anonymized.

USING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Telonium uses the personal information you provide to:

  • create and maintain your accounts;
  • process, fulfill, and follow-up on your orders;
  • register your services;
  • answer your questions;
  • register you in programs (per your request);
  • send you information;
  • send you surveys.

We also use this personal information to provide you with information related to your account and the products or services you purchased from
us, to better understand your needs and interests, to improve our service, and to personalize communications.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Unless you consent, Telonium will never share the personal information you provide to us except as described below.

Telonium may disclose your personal information to third parties under any of the following circumstances:

  • As may be required to fulfill orders, to conduct billing/credit card processing, to provide service, and for e-mail housing (as a consequence of uses already described in this Privacy Statement).
  • As required by law (such as responding to a valid subpoena, warrant, audit, or agency action, or to prevent fraud). For research activities, including the production of statistical reports (such aggregated information is used to describe our services to current and prospective partners and other third parties, and is not used to contact the subjects of the report).
  • In the context of a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, consolidation, or divestiture (pursuant to a pledge of confidentiality under which the recipient agrees to use the information for no purpose other than carrying out the transaction).

Telonium makes every effort to provide you with the ability to opt-in and opt-out of receiving communications from Telonium and/or its partners.

Telonium may send you e-mail about your account, about the services you have purchased, to remind you about services that are available, or in response to your questions. Telonium may also send you e-mail with information and/or special offers about products and services that may be of interest to you, unless you indicate that you do not want to receive them. In addition, with your assent, our business partners may send you such information.

You may let us know whether or not you would like to receive information, special offers, and promotional materials from Telonium or our business partners when you create a Telonium account, when you register for a service, when you provide us with your personal information, or when we send you e-mail. Please note that if you choose not to accept promotional e-mails, you may not receive special offers that may be of value to you.

Telonium will provide you with the opportunity to opt-out of any of our direct marketing communications at any time. All promotional e-mail sent from Telonium will contain a provision allowing you the option to decline receiving future promotional e-mail. COOKIES AND OTHER BROWSER INFORMATION
Our website automatically captures IP addresses. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our website, and to help ensure the security of your interaction with the website. Your IP address is used to help identify you.

As part of offering and providing customizable and personalized services, Telonium uses cookies to store and sometimes track information about you.
