It’s been amazing 5 years since we’ve acquired our very first Telonium customer; thanks to all the supports from our customers over the year. We are happy to announce that our very first customer is still our customer and happier than ever to be part of us!
In 2010, we have sought out to educate and promote the small business owners and entrepreneurs the importance of live communications and the benefits of (what was back then, a relative new) VoIP technology. Consumers were first to try this technology, and services like Skype and Google Voice certainly kick started this movement. However, businesses were extremely cautious in moving into a new technology that has had a bad first impression (back when we had slow Internet).
Over the years, we’ve seen significant growth in businesses adopting this technology. In fact, a recent report from Transparency Market Research (TMR) forecasts that global VoIP growth with see a 9.7 percent CAGR from 2014 to 2020. In 2013, the market was recorded at US $70.9 billion and is projected to be worth US $136.76 billion by 2020.
We have (not yet) hit those large numbers with capital Bs, but we have been working extremely hard to satisfy every one of our customers with a reliable service, great customer support, and prompt issue resolutions. And our race to the 100% SLA is never over! Over the last several months, our engineers have been working behind the curtain to launch our 3rd major infrastructure change, providing the customers with even better reliability than our 99.99% uptime track record in last 5 years. We will slowly (and rather quietly) be transitioning our customers starting January.
